Episode 6 starts with the five Iga that attacked the Kouga village leaving disappointed 
because now the Kouga know their intentions. They hurry back to their village hoping that they might get to kill Gennosuke who is not aware that the war has started! On their way to their village they find Okoi. In order to take her to their village and kill her they told her that they were sent by Gennosuke and that he would be very pleased if he gets to see her at the Iga village. Okoi quickly realises their intentions and she tries to escape but Nenki follows her and manages to knock her down by using his hair abilities! Nenki wants to kill her immediately but Tenzen tells him that she might be useful in order to kill Gennosuke (by using her as bait).
Meanwhile at another place in the woods, Yashamaru is still trying to reach the Iga village worrying of Hotarubi.
The Kouga are trying to understand why the Iga attacked them in a period of truce and if they should attack the Iga or not. Gyobu wants to attack immediately because he is worried of Gennosuke's fate but Hyoma tells him that Gennosuke cannot be slain easily by the Iga and that they should not rush to attack because that is what the Iga expect. Hyoma starts to suspect that the truce might be nullified and in order to find out he assigns to Gyobu and Saemon to find out.
Gyobu and Saemon go to Tokaiodo Road, where the Iga that went to Sunpu have to pass by in order to 
reach their village and wait for the Iga. Saemon has the ability to change his face and voice to whomever he wants. So he goes behind a wall and he pretends that he is Tenzen who died and speaks from the grave to Yashamaru who passes by! Saemon manages to find out everything he wanted to know but at the end he makes a mistake and Yashamaru realises that he is not Tenzen and attacks him! Yashamaru though never expected Gyobu who attacked him through the wall and killed him... After his death we get to see a short scene with Hotarubi who in a way senses his death.
At the last part of this episode Akeginu lies to Oboro that the messenger she sent (to find if Udono was ok), returned and that Udono is fine. Tenzen and the others have returned too and they are trying to figure out a way to slay Gennosuke. Saemon on the other hand has copied Yashamaru's face and he is heading to Iga village among with Gyobu. What will happen on the next episode? Will the Iga manage to slay Gennosuke? Will Saemon manage to save him? And don't forget Okoi who is poisoned in the Iga village. Find out on the next Basilisk episode!
