Several Kouga will be introduced to us in this episode. At first we get to meet Okoi and Saemon. They are having lunch together and Okoi keeps complaining to Saemon that she is bored and she wished 
she was with Gennosuke at the Iga village so she can have some action. Later on we get to meet another 3 Kouga. Kagero, Hyoma and Gyobu. Kagero keeps complaining about Gennosuke marrying an Iga woman (women!) but Hyoma keeps telling her that if this is Gennosukes decision then they have to respect it. Gyobu on the other hand is worrying about the dangers of Gennosuke's decision but again Hyoma supports Gennosuke by saying that he respects him even more for taking this decision. Kagero continues to complain and she also express a deeper feeling by saying that they should kill Oboro, but Hyoma tells her to stop and that they will
not discuss about this subject again. However that does not mean that they have to trust the Iga. Just after this conversation was over and Saemon comes in and says to Hyoma that he send Okoi to check on Gennosuke at the Iga village and every one agrees that this was a good decision. Next we get to see one of Hyoma's abilities who can easily sense 5 Iga are approaching their village and he even gets to know that one of them is a woman!
Back to Iga Village, Gennosuke is having a conversation with Oboro and Akeginu and Akeginu in order to give an excuse about Jousuke's disappearance she tells to Gennosuke that Jousuke went to her room and she turned him down by telling him that she doesn't like fat men. She then said that Jousuke was probably disappointed and left the village.
Just outside the Kouga village the five Iga begin their attack by killing a Kouga guardian and begin going deeper into the village. The Kouga who were warned by Hyoma begin building their defence and wait for them. When the Iga reached the village, the Kouga gave them a surprising reception. The Iga then start attacking the Kouga and killing lots of low level Kouga ninjas. Every Iga member starts using their techniques and they get high hopes on their plan of killing every Kouga until Hyoma gets in the scene among with Kagero, Gyobu and Saemon. Tenzen (one of the attacking Igas) tells Hyoma that they only came for a visit
and the Kouga attacked them. Hyoma tells him that they act suspicious by getting to the village from the North (back entrance) and that is the reason why they attacked them. Tenzen then responds by saying that this is how they will treat them if they pay a visit to the Iga village and then the 5 Iga leave the Kouga village.
This episode ends with Gennosuke asking Oboro to send a message to the Kouga village in order to check if Jousuke is OK because he was worrying about him. Did Gennosuke actually realised what happened? Will he make it back to the Kouga village alive? And what will happen with Okoi who is heading to the Iga village?
