Ogen is the leader of the Iga clan. Although her heart is full of hatred for the Kouga because she mistakenly believes that Danjou betrayed her, she still has feelings for Danjou. She is happy for her granddaughter when she finds out that she is in love with Gennosuke but her Iga pride pushed her to start a war with the Iga regarding the feelings of Oboro. She is a master of Ninjutsu and every Iga greatly respects her.
